- After ECH1993 in Athens where he took silver he got offer from Turkey to fight for them.
- He rejected first offer because he felt strong enough to fight for place in Russian national team but situation in Chechnya in begining of 1994 was economical very bad (lead to war} so he accepted Turkish offer at last.
