• Probably the best technical (nojapanese) judoka in '70.
• His olympic gold medal was big surprise for everybody. Few months before olympic games he was injuried and could not train and even walk.
• He was not powerfull judoka and usualy had lax stamina so the long tactical final matches were problem for him. That's why he never won European and World Championships.
• He died in 2009 after hard illness.
