Chiaki Ishii

01.10.1941 Tokyo area, Japan

His father and grandfather had judo school in Japan.
His dream was fighting at 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo but he was not nominated there becase he had never beaten his rival Isao Okano.
In 1969 he decided moved to Brazil. Immigration politic of Brazil that time was open and many Japanese people went to Brazil for having field.
He settled in Japanese comunity near São Paulo and soon begun fighting for his new country.
Today he has own judo school in Brazil.
His daughters Tânia Ishii and Vânia Ishii were continued in judo tradition of his family.
