Career and Style
Valois-Fortier is specific half-middleweighter. He is very tall for this cathegory. This mean that he is not powerful judoka. He has very good ashi-waza and sutemiwaza. He has excelent moves and that's why is hard to catch (grip) him. This is his big advantage.
In 2012 London Olympic Games he upset almost everybody. All his opponents were favourit for medal. By winning bronze medal he became the most unexpected medal holder of the tournament.
