Bio

He was born in a small Russian/Siberian city Glyaden in German community who live there.

In 1992 he moved with his family to Rotenburg, Germany.

He lives and trains in Hanover.

He is married and has 2 children.

Career and Style

Peters is judoka who is not very much gifted by judo technical skills. He represents athletic judo focused on psychical strength and condition. He is strong in groundwork (ne-waza) where he can easily use his power.

The biggest moment of his career came in 2012 London Olympic Games. He timed topshape for right date and he only missed more luck in semifinal match against Russian judoka. Khaybulayev was not better than him but referees voted for Russian. He won Bronze medal.
