Career and Style
Pedro was great fighter but it's hard to say he was great technical judo player. Especially his tachi-waza was not good. He knew how to win the match. He was very determinated fighter. Probably his strongest part was kumikata at all. He knew how to grip his opponent and knock him down for groundworking (ne-waza). On the ground he was very good.
He usually attacked medal from repechage where determination and will is very important.
After retiring he became succesful judo trainer but critisism say that he teaches only how to win the match in judo contest and not how to do the nice judo.
