He is married with South Korean golf player Mi-Hyeon Kim.
Career and Style
He was master of tai-otoshi.
In 2004 Olympics he won gold medal but in semifinal match against Moldavian judoka had little luck. Bivol threw him in combination for ippon but referee just called wazari. Few second later he threw Bivol with brilliant tai-otoshi and won the match.
His pro career was not long just from 2002 till 2006 but he won all major tournaments. Reason of his quick retirement were younger judokas (Kim, Wang) in South Korean team and injuries.
