Since 2000 he was national trainer of Greece judo team.
He was born and raised in a small Greek community in Georgia.
In 1993 because of economy crisis he moved with his family to their old homeland Greece.
In Greece Nikos Iliadis found with his brothers a judo club in his new hometown.
He found very strange family of Iliadis by adopted young judo players from Georgia. One of them was Ilias Iliadis.
