He was born in Jihlava what is city in central Czech republic.
His older brother Michal is also judoka.
He lives and train in Prague.
Career and Style
Krpálek is tall athletic judo player with powerful goshi-waza and great groundworking {ne-waza).
In 2012 he had troubles with his back but injury was not such serious that he had to miss 2012 London Olympic Games.
In 2013 he improved wis tachi-waza so good that he was able to win European title in standing position.
