- At young age he train wrestling and judo together but later he prefered judo. He spent some time in Japan.
- He retired after winning bronze medal at 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
- He moved to proffesional rink and became the star of proffesional wrestling. He used name Bad News Brown.
