Bio

He startet with judo when he was 13 years old.

He works as assistent at Fakulty Of Sport in Sarajevo.

His trainer is Branislav Montenegrins.

Career and Style

Mekić is judoka from a contry where sport is not very donated. Except football/basketball they don't have many top skilled athletes. If he was from a sport countries like Germany, France, Nederlands he would be the great one.

This guy 3 times fighted for bronze medal at World Championships and in 2011 he won gold medal at European Championships. Yes it was upset but not miracle.

Mekić is smart judo player who knows what he can afford against opponents. He is not perfect skilled in judo but he has very good sutemi-waza, tani-otoshi is his tokui-waza.
